Terrain
Flat,Hilly, Mountainous or combination of two or more terrain types
Difficulty
Easy – A wide trail, short, free of obstacles, near dayuse areas where heavy use is expected
Moderate – A wide longer trail with moderate grade, varying topography, free of obstacles
Moderately Rugged – A longer 4-6 foot wide trail on steeper grades and varying trail surfaces, some sections for single or double file riding
Rugged – For single file riding over extremely steep grades, dramatic topography, native rock and
frequently changing trail surfaces. Obstacles such as rock ledges, fallen trees and stream
crossings may be encountered
